Where a coffin carries the ‘Plastic Free’ or the ‘Plastic Free option available’ symbol, the product is either entirely plastic free or comes with the option of being entirely plastic free. Willow canes are from a fast growing trees, coppice grown on a two to three year cycle. The canes are sustainable and benefit the local ecology and the environment in general. The willow used in our childs willow is sourced from managed and known sources from the willow town of Linyi in the Shandong province of China.

The coffins come with a natural biodegradable cotton lining and are supplied with either a traditional nameplate, or the details of the deceased incorporated into the final design.
